I was asked to play with a grown-up Alice theme in some dark way so I did.
The client for this illustration was a musician Floris de Vries (The Penultimate Truth); this is a front cover for the music album "Wonderland".

It’s a promotional poster for the local anime convention in Moscow. This event is dedicated to the story of Romeo and Juliet based on recent animated filming by Gonzo (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Romeo_x_Juliet).

I’ve always been affected by wolf’s archetype. So one day I decided to draw a story about them. Also this tale was born from another love of mine – the original French version of “Little Red Riding Hood”. Anyway my story doesn’t follow any known retelling. This picture is a birthday present for a friend. She is much more beautiful, than I painted her, and she never wears stuff like that, but I think it should suit her well.
No references used for jewels or dress. My friend posed for me, and I made some shoots of her as well.

I’m a big lover of psychological horror videogames. Just recently I cleared a “Rule of Rose” videogame and came up with an illustration as my tribute to it. I portrayed one of the main characters – 13-years old girl named Diana. She loves to look older, and in fact she is really a twisted person. I didn’t like her. So I’m still wondering why do I even bother to choose her?
